Hello! I wrote another couple of haikus today. As always, general thoughts or suggestions for improvement much appreciated x

First rays on dew-drops
Reveal secret passages,
Surface to surface.
................................................
Tiny bodies sleep,
Silent under evergreens;
Needles Glittering.

Insignificant Things

My heart feels frozen; I check my breathing

It’s nothing much; I am only leaving.

Your movement’s miles to each painful step-

So I pause, and stay carefully still.

We admit defeat so quickly

So hastily, rudely retreat.

What comfort now do you think you’ll bring me?

Just ease fleeting, insignificant things.

First attempt at Haiku...

Misty morning scenes.

Trees ablaze and raining flames,

Trace scents of Winter.

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to come and have a look at my blog. I'm new to all this, so hopefully I'll manage to stumble through!

Today is Friday and the end of my first week in a new job! Also, my next Open University Module (A215-Creative Writing) starts tomorrow. Lots of new stuff going on-which is a good thing! (so far)...
